Visiting an inmate
Visitation is held daily from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and 4:30-9:30 p.m. through video visitation system.
Each inmate may have up to five visits per week. For visitation times for any particular inmate call (217) 753-6886.
You must arrive at least 30 minutes before the visitation time.

Can I post bond for an inmate at anytime?
YES-Bonds are taken 24hrs. a day 7 days a week, in the form of CASH, credit card (for Sangamon County warrant bonds only), and cashier's checks. For every bond processed there is a $25.00 bonding fee.
When can I send money to an inmate?
You can put money on an inmate's account daily, in person, by coming to Main Control at the Jail, or by sending a money order through the mail to the inmate. The hours to put money on accounts are from 8:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. and 4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
